Broken Pipe Theatre is proud to present an evening of variety entertainment. Local performers show off their skills in this entertainment packed variety show. From sensational singers, music and magic to dance ensembles and stand-up comedians - there's something for everyone. So why not come along and see for yourself that Northamptonshire's got talent! We are very lucky to have two successful professional performers, both from Northamptonshire - Sean Heydon and James Acaster. Sean Heydon has been a professional illusionist for the past 9 years. He has many television credits to his name and is currently the resident illusionist on the Paul O'Grady Show, Channel 4 and on three BBC Radio shows. He is arguably the most televised illusionist in the UK today. He has just been awarded "The Trevor George Speciality Act of the Year 2009", one of the most prestigious awards in show business. He has been described as "Fantastic" - Head of PR - Budweiser,"The illusions are mind blowing and his performance style makes for a very amusing show. Highly recommended!" - Andy Cox, Indigo Studios. James Acaster talks about seemingly normal occurrences with an engaging optimism, sharing personal stories of misfortune and minor triumphs. His comedy is delivered in a genuine and honest manner, often focussing on his own personal weaknesses as well as all the little things he finds to be unusually thrilling. He has been described as "bounding about the stage with a joyful enthusiasm...heaps of fun" - Latest 7 and "one of the brightest and most engaging new acts on the circuit" - SCC. The event runs from 7-10pm at the Pemberton Center, Rushden, on Saturday April 10th, with a raffle and bar available. Tickets are available at WeGotTickets.com for £6 for adults, £4 for children, and £17.50 for a family ticket for groups of five.
